I offer only four # drill bit sizes that I use in wiring a dollhouse. The most used sizes are drill bit #55 and #66. #55 I use the pilot hole for the micro-jacks but will also use #66 if the micro-jack is going into a soft wood. The smallest drill, #70 is good to use like your center punch. It just marks where the brad or nail points need to go and gives them easy access.
Note that the smaller the number the larger the size. A 1/16th inch drill is larger than a #55 and would be .0625" or a #62.
