Wiring and Rewiring Jobs

Since becoming involved with miniatures, I have found that a lot of individuals have no idea how to electrically wire their houses.  For some unknown reason, I have never had a problem understanding how to wire a display or house and rather enjoy working with individuals to install electric lighting.  There is a real pleasure seeing the reaction of someone when you show them their house fully electrified and more recently being able to connect their lighting to a remote control.

Yes, CR2S is more than happy to take a look at your display or dollhouse and make recommendations on its wiring.  Below are some examples of houses I have wired or rewired.

Neuschwanstein Castle

Neuschwanstein Castle is a late 19th century castle in Germany, near Hohenschwangau and Fussen in southwest Bavaria, not far from the Austrian border.  It is the most photographed building in Germany, and is one of Germany’s most popular tourist destinations.  Neuschwanstein served as the inspiration for the Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland.

This model that I had the pleasure of rewiring with LED lighting is on loan to Florida Atlantic University from Carole and Barry Kaye.  The artist is Robert Dawson.

Florida Atlantic University is in Boca Raton, Florida, south of West Palm Beach, Florida.  If you find yourself ever in South Florida, you should try and see this amazing castle

Jimmy Landers’ Victorian

Victorian

This museum quality dollhouse and other displays made by Jimmy Landers can be seen under his name elsewhere in this web site. Click here  I have had the privilege to electrically wire most of Jimmy's projects and have been adding remote controls and a revolving display table to all of his latest store fronts.  This particular Victorian dollhouse uses over 300 LEDs in addition to numerous custom made lights.

Alfini Garage

Front Garage picture front model

This Garage was made from the photograph on the left.  I was given specific measurements for the model and asked if I could make two florescent shop lights for the garage.  Not being able to find shop lights I created some using chip LEDs.  Check out those lights at Shop Lights.  The garage was made as a retirement gift for their handyman.

This picture of the inside of the garage gives one a good look at the two florescent shop lights as well as the glass block window on the back wall.  Note that I actually changed the location of the shop lights in the finished box.

The pictures below show you what Mrs. Alfini did to fill up the garage.  The first 2 pictures are of the actual garage, the rest are of the diorama.  Patty does unbelievable work in decorating her displays.
